Most designers will tell you a beautiful home starts with good taste. We'd argue it starts with good questions.
Fiona Brass Interiors was founded in 2015 on a simple belief: that the homes people love most aren't the ones that look the best in photographs - they're the ones that work. Spaces that absorb real life, reflect the people inside them, and still feel exceptional ten years later.
Based in Surrey and working across the surrounding areas, we take on a small number of projects each year - residential homes that deserve proper attention, not a formula.
Our Approach
Before we talk about finishes, we talk about how you actually use your home. How you move through it in the morning. Where your kids drop their bags. Whether you need a room that can be a study on Tuesday and a dining room on Saturday.
That rigour, inherited from Fiona's background in science, is what separates a beautiful design from one that genuinely changes how you live. We ask the awkward questions early so the result feels effortless later.
We work with a close-knit team of trusted tradespeople, many of whom we've partnered with for years. We manage the whole process; design, procurement, delivery - so you don't have to.
Meet the Team
Fiona
A natural problem-solver with a background in science, I’ve always been driven by curiosity — asking why, looking deeper, and seeking smart, elegant solutions. That mindset, combined with a deep love of home and design, led me to retrain at the KLC School of Design in London and launch Fiona Brass Interiors in 2015.
Since then, I’ve built a studio known for calm confidence, considered detail, and work that quietly transforms the way people live. With years of industry experience and an intuitive, client-first approach, I help bring clarity to the design process and craft spaces that feel not only beautiful, but genuinely supportive of everyday life.
I collaborate with a close-knit, highly skilled team of trusted tradespeople — experts who care as much about the detail and delivery as I do. Together, we bring thoughtful, timeless homes to life — always with integrity, intention, and a sense of purpose.
Alice
I’ve always been passionate about interior design and love creating spaces that feel beautiful, welcoming, and personal. With a background in client-facing roles, I naturally tune into the little details — often anticipating what clients need before they ask. It’s important to me that every project feels smooth, supported, and thoughtfully handled from start to finish.
After completing my degree, I furthered my training with the British Academy of Interior Design, gaining technical skills in 3D visualisation, detailed drawings, and project management. I enjoy bringing creative ideas to life and ensuring the design process feels calm and collaborative.
I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Fiona Brass Interiors studio — working closely with our clients to help turn their houses into homes that truly reflect how they want to live.
Brass House Studio
