Esher Garden Studio
Brass House Studio was never intended to be just a garden room or somewhere to work. It had to feel like a natural extension of our home, designed with the same care, quality, and attention to detail that we bring to every client project.
From the outset, flexibility was fundamental. During the day it is the creative home of Fiona Brass Interiors, a calm, light-filled workspace where clients can experience materials, review drawings and develop ideas around a generous central island. Positioned to capture the morning sun, the studio offers the change of perspective that comes from leaving the house, whilst still retaining the warmth and comfort of home.
Every decision was made with longevity in mind. A stained oak kitchen sits alongside concrete-effect surfaces, bespoke panelling, and carefully integrated joinery, while underfloor heating, rooflights and a fully programmed Lutron lighting system work quietly in the background to create comfort and atmosphere throughout the day. Storage has been designed to conceal everything not in use, allowing the space to remain calm, uncluttered and intentionally simple.
As the working day comes to an end, the studio transforms effortlessly. The presentation island becomes the setting for family dinners and entertaining, while the integrated cinema system creates a completely different experience for evenings spent together. Every element has been designed to adapt without compromise, allowing one space to perform beautifully in many ways.
More than anything, Brass House Studio allows prospective clients to experience our work rather than simply look at it. From the moment they step inside, they begin to understand how thoughtful lighting, carefully balanced materials, intelligent storage, and considered design can completely change the way a space feels. It offers a glimpse of what their own home could become and demonstrates our belief that exceptional design isn't about individual features, but about how a space makes you feel every time you walk into it.
