The Cobham House

This contemporary home was designed with the clients from the building stage, stepping in once the architectural framework was in place. Our role was to translate the structure and scale of the house into spaces that felt calm, cohesive, and liveable.

Set across 4,500 square feet, including a basement cinema room, the home balances generous open-plan living with more intimate areas. A vaulted ceiling anchors the main living space, bringing together the kitchen, dining area, lounge, snug, and office through thoughtful zoning and layering.

The approach throughout was intentionally pared back, allowing key pieces to make quiet statements while preserving the integrity of the building. Comfort and depth were introduced through soft layering, large rugs, and a restrained use of colour. Extensive glazing and French doors connect the interior spaces to the surrounding garden, creating a strong relationship between the home and its setting.
